The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
TMS: March 2016
Sunday, March 13th at 6.30pm in the Parish Church of St.Alban sees the final concert of the 2015/16 TMS season.
We welcome back to Tattenhall the outstanding, international pianist, Steven Osborne. He is immensely popular with the Tattenhall audiences and we are delighted that he can fit us into his busy performing schedule. He is at present enjoying a concert tour of the United States and Canada and after performing in Denver, Washington DC, Toronto and Minneapolis he comes to us in .... Tattenhall ..... next stop Helsinki!
We are so lucky to bring him back and he is always delighted to perform in St.Alban's. Anyone who attended his last concert, 18 months ago will remember the problem with the squeaky foot pedal which Steven resolved by getting down on his hands and knees and giving it a good squirt of WD40. We have been ensured that the piano is "squeak free" for this concert!!
His programme will include Debussy-Estampes, Images bk1 and Rachmaninov-etudes-tableaux, op33 and op 39. This is definitely another concert not to miss.
Tickets are £8 for members and £10 for visitors and can be purchased from Tattenhall News or alternatively you can just pay on the door. As always, under 19 year olds are free and this is a wonderful opportunity for any piano students to come along and hear Steven at very close quarters. He is always happy to talk with folks during the interval and after the concert.
