It holds concerts in St Alban's Church on the second Sunday of the month, October, November, January & March. There is a special concert in February at the Barbour Institute.
Laura Jellicoe is our Chair and she and the late Ken Griffin set up the Society in 2004 with the aim of bringing first class musicians to Tattenhall at affordable admission prices.
In 20 years our tickets have only risen from £8 to £13. Under 18 years are always free. It's a brilliant opportunity for youngsters who are learning an instrument to come along and chat to the musician about their journey and love of playing.
Our musicians come from all of the main orchestras in the UK and many soloists perform internationally. Steven Osborne, our concert pianist this November, was a massive star of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall this Summer.
If you have never been to a concert before then do give it a try. We are a very friendly society and concerts start at 6:30pm and usually finish by 8.30pm with an interval of 20 minutes.......with wine and soft drinks available.
