Not content with reporting on two of our businesses (Yew Tree Farm Holiday Cottages and Allium) who were both shortlisted for the prestigious County Marketing Cheshire Awards earlier in the week, we now find that Tattenhall receives a mention in the national press this morning.
Described as 'a prosperous village near Chester', Jonathan Northcroft (football correspondent for The Sunday Times) has written a first national newspaper one-to-one with Ben Woodburn (Liverpool FC), who is described as 'the village boy with a hint of steel'.
This article is testimony to long term commitment and dedication from a very young age and, remember, Ben Woodburn is still only 18!
How refreshing to read such a positive piece about Tattenhall, about village life, about his continuing local friendship group and about his favourite childhood haunts (The Ice Cream Farm receives special mention).
Ben Woodburn is aiming to show Jurgen Klopp he can be trusted in the big matches for Liverpool – we wish him well.
