Tattenhall Hall Garden Open Day
Tattenhall Hall gardens will be open once again under the National Garden Scheme on Sunday 7 June 2-5.30pm. This is the 20th year of opening and raising money for local causes- the Barbour Institute, scouts, guides, the school, etc and national charities.Last year we had a record of over 500 visitors – so the tea and cake queue was very lengthy and of course not everyone could get served!
Tutti Fruttti our local saxophone group will again be entertaining the visitors.
It now takes 20 volunteers to manage the day, plus all those who donate cakes for the tea. We are grateful for all the local support from the village and realise that the roads are probably very congested with extra cars for the afternoon-but as yet we have never had a complaint.
All we can hope for is good weather!
Admission £7, children free, to the NGS charity,
