TGS: November 2019
The next talk at The Tattenhall Gardening Society is a talk by Samantha Hopes on Hellebores,
a flowering plant which is very welcome in the dark days of winter after Christmas, and if you grow Hellebore Niger or Christmas Rose it might well do what it says on the tin and flower for Christmas!
Samantha is a young keen gardener who trained at RHS Wisley and then moved to Ashwood nursery in Kingswinford, South Shropshire, where the owner John Massey has spent a lifetime growing unusual plants and breeding hellebores, Ashwood hybrids come from his nursery.
Samantha now works independently.
She will be bringing plants for sale.
The Talk is on Wednesday November 13th,
However it will be preceded at 7.30 by a very brief AGM, so please come slightly earlier than usual.
Visitors always welcome at £3.
