Tattenhall Community First Responders — Annual Charity Golf Day -
Friday 24 June 2016
Tattenhall Community First Responder group is hosting its seventh annual 'Charity Golf Day' at Aldersey Green Golf Club on Friday 24 June 2016. All previous years' events have been a great success and enjoyed by all, so why not support us by entering a team, sponsoring a hole or donating a prize?
The golf day is our main annual fundraiser. We need to raise approximately £2000 per annum to cover our running costs (first responder vehicle etc) and the golf event in previous years has raised in the region of £1600, with the balance coming from ad hoc donations. We try to plough back any surpluses into our local communities by funding community defibs in whole or in part.
To date we have placed the AEDs in Spar, Tattenhall, The Pheasant, Burwardsley, St Alban's Church, The Barbour Institute, Sport Tattenhall (part funded), and The Studio, Tattenhall (our thanks previously to Tattenhall Beer Festival who also supported the funding of 1 AED).
It only costs £50 to sponsor a hole, and £100 to enter a team of four, which includes tea and coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf and a two-course meal after play.
Please contact Nigel Worthington on 01829 770511 to enter or for sponsorship details
Tattenhall First Responders are unpaid volunteers who respond to certain 999 emergency calls in the local area.
We are trained to provide basic life support, administer defibrillation and oxygen, and provide first aid and re-assurance for a range of conditions.
As well as responding to medical emergencies in the local area, we also provide emergency life support training for local people in conjunction with Jill Raine at "The Studio" in Worley Court. For more details of this please contact Jill on 01829 771895.
For further information contact Rob Selby on 01829 770586 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Save the date to your diary and get your team together! Help support the Responders in the amazing volunteer service that they give to our community.
