Ann Wright, Clerk to Tattenhall & District Parish Council, sent us these messages about the Elf Trail:

"Subject: Christmas Elf Trail 2020 -- Please get involved!

This year we are facing a very different Christmas and the Parish Council has made the difficult decision to cancel the children's Parties we usually hold. We are also aware a lot of other events are likely to be cancelled. However we still think it is important to celebrate Christmas in Tattenhall and as such we are looking with our help to create an Elf Trail.

We are looking for families , businesses and groups to create a display Elves around the village particularly on the High Street. The Elves might be outside or visible from a window. The Elves will be registered in a guide which will be available online as well as some paper copies being made available. If you or your organisation/company would like to get involved please contact me — details on poster"
