Your support has been amazing – you praised us greatly – our thanks to you all!
We continue with the weekend of our Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival which will be held in the Barbour Institute between 6pm-11.30pm.
In advance of the event, we would like to thank the following (in particular) for their generosity:
- Our principal Sponsors, REDROW, who have not only provided enormous financial support but who have donated a raft of goodies toward the event.
- All the businesses and organisations within and immediately without the village who have involved themselves in taking up beer, cider, gin and prosecco sponsorship as well as all those companies who have placed advertising within the official programme or who have provided raffle prizes.
Events like this do not just happen, they involve the goodwill of huge numbers of people and for that we thank you all.
So, a reminder of how this all works but, importantly, that this is a CHARITY EVENT and all proceeds will be split equally between 'MIND', 'Save the Family' & 'OPAL'. In this respect, therefore, we ask you to dig deep into your pockets BUT to have lots of fun too at this fantastic charity, community event.
- Admission & Tickets
£6 per ticket which includes entry, a collector's programme, a commemorative glass and your first beer. Tickets are available at outlets in the village i.e. Pluto House Gift Shop, The Letters and Complement Clothing. If you are unable to get to any of these outlets then give Andrew a ring on 01829 770026. Tickets will also be available on the door but to avoid disappointment we do recommend that you obtain your tickets in advance. The Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival is always a sell-out event.
- Music
This year, and by popular demand, we are delighted to host brothers, Callum and Ally. Many of you will know of the brothers since they were performing at the recent official opening of the Playground (ParkFest). If you've got an eclectic taste in music, Callum and Ally will not let you down. A repertoire ranging from the Who, Fleetwood Mac, John Martyn, Stevie Wonder, the Stones, Oasis, and of course the Beatles, should give you plenty to enjoy. They are no stranger to the Liverpool scene and the Cavern. Callum played his first gig of original songs in the Cavern Lounge back in 2008, and is now a resident performer on the world famous Cavern Club stage. In 2015 Callum also saw success on BBC1' s show 'The Voice', where a rock 'n' roll medley with the Mac Bros (Callum and his brother Ally) saw them working with Rita Ora, and Ricky Wilson. The two bothers play regularly together and also as individuals ............... don't miss the chance to see them! Callum will be playing on Friday and Ally on Saturday.
