Tattenhall Annual Show Sunday 2nd September

TATTENHALL ANNUAL SHOW

Sunday 2 September 2018 at 2.30 pm

The Tattenhall Garden Trail showed what wonderful gardens there are around the village, not just the gardens that were open but those you passed on the way round looked good! So for all those gardeners out there that would like others to see what wonderful things they grow, this is the time to start thinking about the Annual Show, open to all, not just Garden Society members.

There is something for everybody at the show- Fruit and veg, flowers, flower arranging, pot plants ,arts and crafts, for adults and children, photography and cookery.

The cookery section this year features, jams, jelly, curd and marmalade, savoury biscuits, a vegetable cake, a victoria sandwich and decorated cup cakes, so start practising!

Crafts this year:

• Hand needle craft i.e. embroidery, patchwork, tapestry or quilting, hand knitted or crochet item, piece of jewellery or beading, wood or metal craft, and up cycled item, or a craft of your own choice.

Use the summer holidays to make something special – the children's classes are:

• Under 7's. :a vegesaurus, agarden on aplate, something you made, not from a kit,and a photograph of an animal.
• For over7's: something you have made, not from a kit, 4 decorated cupcakes,a drawing or painting of something in the garden( e.g. A plant, flower bench or even a slug! ) and an interesting photo taken in the village.

So get out there this summer holiday and see what you can do, start practising!
