Christmas can be very isolating for older people in any community and particularly in rural communities. For them it is so much more difficult to attend evening Lantern Parades, singing around the Christmas Tree outside the Barbour or attending Carol Services at St Alban's.
A team of volunteers in Tattenhall work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that we support our older community members; that they are not isolated but are valued and that they too are able to enjoy a full social life at our organised events.
Please try to support us at OPAL (Older People Active Lives) on 5 December (one of our principal fundraising event) ... and make that difference.
The entrance fee is just £1 to include coffee/tea and mince pie (how can you resist)!
This event is hugely important to us and the monies we raise help us to fund our year's activities, guest speakers, outings etc.
We look forward to seeing you (if you want to bring along a raffle prize too, that would be very generous).
