The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire

Annual Show

Home » News » Annual Show

Tattenhall Gardening Society will hold its Annual Show on Sunday 4 September from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm in the Barbour Institute.

There are a host of gardening-related and non-gardening related categories that you can enter.

For those of you with "driving me spare" kids, there are also categories for the youngsters in our community!

Inclusivity at its best!!

The full Schedule of Events lets you see the sorts of things that will be judged (with small cash prizes and some trophies for points and section winners). It will soon be available in hard copy at selected places in the village and, with any luck, as something to download from Tattenhall Online. Keep a look out for it.

We include a selection of the entries from the 2015 Show and, in the meantime, you might want to know what the "driving me spare" kids can start to think about, research and then complete.

So, get busy ...

Through the past few months many of us have done more walking and have possibly discovered new footpaths in and in the neighbourhood of Tattenhall. Some are well trodden but on others you may have the path or track all to yourselves. For those who like maps, Pluto House stocks a handy pocket-sized publication 'Around & About Tattenhall & Beeston'. This is part of the Ordnance Survey...
