Sun-Soaked Success ...

An 'official launch' evening, introducing 'Allium by Mark Ellis', was held in our first-choice, newly-refurbished restaurant at Lynedale House last week. Interestingly too, we were able to view the immaculate boutique en-suite bedrooms that have been developed on the first floor of this iconic 19th century building and which are now available for bookings.

On a perfectly sun-soaked evening, invited guests were entertained by close-up magician John Holt and Chester's finest duo and rising stars Kath and Simon.

With fizz, live entertainment and some mouth-wateringly delicious canapes – the goat's cheese and asparagus canapes were sensational, as were the bite size lamb burgers with mint relish, bbq pork spring rolls and gin and tonic lollipops(!) – a very successful evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Locals, experts, members of the business alliance and celebrities rubbed shoulders late into the night as the fizz flowed; a great time was had by all.
