Storm Malik is expected to batter Cheshire with strong winds this coming weekend. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning. This warning for wind covers the majority of northern England, Ireland and Scotland for three days from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st January .
The warning comes into effect in Northern parts of Cheshire on Sunday and Monday, including Chester, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Runcorn, Widnes and Macclesfield.
The Met Office Chief Meteorologist Paul Gundersen said: "The impacts of Storm Malik are going to be greatest in Denmark on Sunday, but the track of the storm in the preceding hours means that the UK will be dealt a glancing blow as Malik moves eastwards on Saturday."
Brace yourselves; and beprepared for the potentially bad weather!
