Spring Water and Old Books take the lead

Last week, the Tattenhall Business Alliance organised a Corporate Croquet evening on the new croquet lawn at The Flacca. There were eight pairs participating with teams from Bolesworth Estate, Peckforton Hills Spring Water, RPost UK, Stothert Books, Spar, Tattenhall Online and the Tutor Doctors. At the end of the evening just two pairs remained unbeaten – Alan Checkley and David Tanswell (Stothert Books) and Jonny and Henry Kershaw (Peckforton Hills Spring Water). After the obligatory team photographs the players then retired to the Sportsmans Arms where Wendy and her staff provided a delicious and sustaining meal.

Thanks are due to members of Tattenhall Croquet Club for making their lawn available and providing guidance to the players, many of whom had started the evening as novices but by the close were looking like seasoned professionals.
