Spring is in the Air.
Snowdrops are everywhere and the first daffodils can be spotted around the village.
No-one has yet reported any frog spawn (last year, and following the 'Beast from the East', it was sighted a couple of weeks later than usual). That said, in 2017, sightings were reported on 24 February. If you spot it before us then let us know.
After the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch back in January, this week has seen the Big Farmland Bird Count and members of the Webteam have been out and about on some of our local farms.
Buzzards, yellowhammers, lapwing, curlew, long-tailed tits, meadow pipits, and possibly siskins have all been recorded.
Enjoy the terrific weather and get out and about over the half term. If you spot anything unusual, then drop us a line.
