Tattenhall 107/3 (20) vs Sandbach 108/6 (18) -- Sandbach won by 4 wickets

Batting first, we started slowly but sensibly, before unleashing some vicious shots through the latter part of the innings. Andy retired on 40, with Tom not far behind on 33, including one enormous straight driven 6.

Harry and Andy then opened the bowling, each picking up a wicket in their first over, and it was game on. Sandbach consolidated over the next 8 overs or so, before Tom took 2 wickets in 2 balls to rein them back in. With some excellent fielding, and with Harry picking up another wicket followed by one for Akinda, all 9 years of him, it remained a very close contest with Sandbach just creeping past the Tattenhall total by the end.

Despite not winning, the lads put up a fantastic performance against a very good Sandbach team, and there were plenty of positives to take from the match.
