You may love or hate the polymer notes which are now in circulation but don't forget that the old £10 note will be withdrawn from circulation on Thursday, 1 March 2018.
The notes can continue to be used up until this point.
If you find an old tenner in your wallet after that date, however, you will not be able to exchange it whilst shopping but you won't be out of pocket.
All bank notes issued by the Bank of England retain their face value forever. This means you can take your old £10 notes to a bank, building society or Post Office and exchange them for a new polymer version.
