Last week, around 100 children and their families attended a magical story-telling event at Gifford Lea.
'Capturing Christmas', highlighted the fantastic community spirit at Gifford Lea, with children, families and residents not only embracing the festivities, but bringing all generations together.
Schools throughout the region had previously received baubles for the children to decorate.
The children were then invited to bring their completed baubles to Gifford Lea and hang them on the Christmas tree at the village.
Children were greeted by Santa and his elves, and enjoyed home-made mince pies, gingerbread biscuits, delicious festive drinks and toppings from the hot chocolate station, with plenty of mulled wine for the adults.

Merry Christmas everyone!
