The Savannah Comes to Chester!

Heart of Africa officially opens on Saturday 5 April.

This 22-acre immersive habitat at Chester Zoo is home to over 50 incredible species, including giraffes, zebras, and ostriches. Wander through sweeping savannah landscapes, discover vibrant African-inspired art, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Plus, make the most of brand-new activities, and delicious new food and drink experiences.
