lameck charity run

You may remember that some weeks ago we reported that Father Lameck was taking part in the run from All Saints Church, Hoole to All Saints, Handley to raise funds to support our local Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

The success of the effort is reported in the latest Parish Magazine as follows:

"It's finally over!!! On behalf of our friends all over the globe and in particular our dear parishioners from the communities of Tattenhall, Burwardsley and Handley, Father Lameck would like to thank you all for the generous support and donations to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. The run was a success and many thanks to those who supported me along the way from All Saints, Hoole to All Saints, Handley.

Your generous donations amounted to more than a thousand pounds , most of which was donated through "Just Giving" which means the money automatically went to the Hospice. Your continued support for the Hospice is deeply gratifying. May the Lord continue to bless you all."
