The Harmonettes (a Cheshire trio with strong links with our village) present 'Dorothy's War' which is also a British Sign Language interpreted performance.
This brilliant show is told through the fabulous songs of the period – ranging from much-loved favourites to forgotten gems – all sung live in close-harmony. It is based on an extraordinary and little-known true story of daring and courage in the Great War.
The performance takes place at the Barbour Institute on Sunday, 1 November at 7.30pm.
Tickets are still available from 'Complement' or 'The Studio'.
