Road Race Sunday 28th September

Post on behalf of Chester Triathlon Club:

We would like to inform you that Chester Triathlon Club is holding a road running race on Sunday 28th September at 11:00.

The race will start and finish by the Tattenhall Recreation Club on Field Lane.

For safety, Burwardsley Road Traffic will be temporarily held from the village up to Dark Lane between approx. 11:00 to 11:15 to allow the runners to turn right out of Field Lane onto Burwardsley Road and away from the village and then turn right onto Dark Lane. Advance notice signs will have been placed in the relevant positions 2 weeks prior to the event.

The runners then follow open roads (keeping on the left-hand side) along Dark Lane, Bolesworth Road, Ridding Bank then back on Bolesworth Road to the Tattenhall Recreation Club. We expect the last runner to be finished by 12:15.

The race is licensed & insured by England/UK Athletics.

If it is possible, it would be greatly appreciated if you could avoid parking on the race route along Field Lane and Burwardsley Road.

We hope that this will not cause too much disruption.
