Rickshaw Challenge Comes to The Sandstone Ridge on 11 November.

Now in its ninth year, 'The Rickshaw Challenge' for BBC Children in Need is back with a new route, a new team, and a newly modified rickshaw which enables visually impaired and blind riders to participate in the challenge. The Rickshaw Challenge, to cycle 400 miles from Holyhead to London, begins on Friday, 8 November, 2019.

Importantly, however, on Day 4 (Monday 11 November) the challenge hits The Sandstone Ridge :

• The route will pass through Malpas, Bickerton, Bulkeley, along the entire length of Stonehouse Lane through Peckforton, up to Beeston and across to Bunbury then onto Nantwich. We're waiting for exact timings but look out for the challenge and keep us updated!

• In an exciting first for the fundraising challenge, The Hunter Foundation (THF) has pledged to give 40p for every £1 donated by the general public to the Rickshaw Challenge, helping to make the public's generous donations go even further in making a difference to young lives.
