If you're a newcomer to the village (or not) then you won't want to miss the two events that take place this coming weekend and which provide a real sense of place and of times past.
The two events are:
Tattenhall Local History's popular book 'Tattenhall – A Community United by War' will be available at the Great War Society Exhibition on Saturday having just been reprinted.
The book, packed with unique images, covers aspects of both conflicts (The Great War and WWII) and seeks to raise awareness about the individual war experiences of many of our local men and women but also explores the challenges faced by those who remained at home.
The content complements information which is already to be found on the Tattenhall Local History Website. Every household should have a copy of this unique coverage of the role of so many Tattenhall individuals from times past.
The books will be available at the Exhibition – we ask for a £10 donation to cover printing costs and to maintain Website hosting and we should be grateful if you would bring cash.
If you are unable to attend and would like a copy of the book and of the historical walking trail leaflet then please contact terri9hull@gmail.com
We look forward to seeing you. We❤️Tattenhall
