Have You Heard We are Recycling Blister Packs in Tattenhall?
Thanks to our Local Councillor Mike Jones who has sponsored the project for another year, we are able to recycle all the EMPTY blister packs we collect in our village. There are collection points at the Post Office, the Library, the care agency on Church Bank and the vets.
When the main container is full, they are sent to MyRefactory which is based in Hull. They turn the plastic into boards from which they make items for playgrounds. The aluminium is passed to a neighbouring factory to be re-used. This process can continue as aluminium does not degrade with use. Please do not put these blister packs in the household waste as they can only be recycled by a specialist company with the correct machines.
