Rebecca Robinson 100km Trek

Rebecca Robinson, Associate Solicitor at Swayne Johnson in Tattenhall, is raising funds for charity, CoppaFeel!, who are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs and know their bodies to be able to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal. In the words of Rebecca: "I wanted to do something completely out of my comfort zone and I think the feeling of completing 100km in five days will be a massive achievement for me personally.

I lost my lovely mum in 2018 and although not to cancer, the loss of someone so very close to me changed my outlook on life entirely. Making the most of opportunities that present themselves to me is my new outlook on life. My family has a huge connection to Scotland. My maternal grandmother was Scottish and we spent the majority of our school holidays there. My father's family also lived in Scotland and he spent his youth travelling up and down from Manchester enjoying trips to all areas of Scotland! Since we lost my mum he has talked nostalgically about those trips and even took his first independent holiday to Knoydart less than 12 months after mum's death. I vowed to explore the country more when I had the opportunity!"
