The Proposed 'Fence' at The Park Primary School

The 'proposal' to erect a 2 metre high fence at the Park Primary School/Park has caused a number of you to email Tattenhall Online direct and many many more of you to voice your concerns on Tattenhall News Facebook.

The Headteacher of The Park Primary School has not contacted us at all on this matter.

In this respect, we repeat the request of Cllr Mike Jones, our Ward Councillor.

*Cllr Jones also advised that individuals write to Fiona Hore, Head of Planning, at CWaC fiona.hore@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk

The point that Cllr Jones has raised is in relation to the Neighbourhood Plan and relates to the fact that our Neighbourhood Plan (NP) is made and holds weight. For those of you who are unaware, The Park is listed as amenity space in the NP and is also mentioned in Appendix A of the NP in relation to views and vistas i.e. glimpsed views of the church across the Park. It is likely, therefore, that anything that is contrary to the principles of the NP has to go through the necessary channels.
