At the Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 9th February 2026 Councillor Iain Keeping presented the pre-submission version of the modified Tattenhall and District Neighbourhood Plan (TNPR) and explained the latest developments in the formation of this plan, which can be reviewed Here.
The TNPR will cover the period from 2025 to 2040. This version contains seven policies to help CWaC determine planning applications for the use and development of land within Tattenhall during that period. In doing so it operates alongside other policies of the CWaC development plan that relate to Tattenhall. The proposed site allocations are contained within an area west of the village, as indicated in the attached map. Policy 8 concerns the flood management plan for the Village. The area covered is shown in the attached map.
The TNPR will soon be published for statutory consultation under Regulation 14 of the Regulations. Once published, comments are welcomed from everyone living and working in Tattenhall Parish as well as local organisations and landowners. These must be made either by email or by post and a deadline identified. Any comments made after that deadline may not be considered by TPC. So look out for these details and respond as appropriate for the future of our village. The TNPR will then be submitted for a referendum in the village before it is incorporated.
