Post Office and Pluto House News – Shop Locally – A Fantastic Selection ....

Tattenhall High Street represents what many villages envy – a vibrant High Street.

Now operating in TIER 2 and with all our shops open, it is worth remembering that if we fail to use and support our local shops and businesses then we may lose them.

The Post Office and Pluto House Gift Shop is one such example.

We campaigned long and hard to have the Post Office returned to Pluto House (for newcomers to the village it was moved to a single counter service across the road in the SPAR store).

We say again – SHOP LOCAL – USE IT OR LOSE IT.

The Post Office was absolutely packed this week – so a gentle reminder (and to keep Lesley and her team sane), please post early for Christmas – operating with Covid-secure restrictions does mean that inevitably the service is slower and only yesterday, the queue was backed-up outside.

• Drop off your dry-cleaning and in good time for upcoming family/bubble gatherings
• The must-have 'Around and About Local Map for Tattenhall & Beeston' – you cannot miss this 'yellow publication' which is not only laminated but magnified to a much more user-friendly standard – pop one in a Christmas Stocking!
• Stockist of Thomas Street Candles – these handmade candles are made with only the highest quality soy blend wax and a pure cotton wick and supplied in a recyclable lever lid tin. The GIN & TONIC variety has a hint of Juniper, a dash of Lime and is shaken with a shot of gin. Another perfect gift which can be purchased locally.
• Fresh Flowers and lovely miniature Poinsettia Plants for Christmas – always well received
• A remarkable selection of high quality, beautifully designed Woodmansterne Christmas Cards, Celebration Cards, Wrappings, Ribbons, Tissues and Tags
• All those little things that we all need on a daily basis – reams of paper for the computer, brown wrapping paper for parcels, bubble wrap, a variety of sticky tapes and labels, diaries and notebooks – the list goes on.
• A full photocopier facility if required
• Lots of local guide books, games, stocking fillers for the children and quirky books too!
