Poppy Appeal - Update

poppies, poppy, remembrance sunday, remembrance day

Thank you to everyone who helped with this year's Poppy Appeal, to all of the shops and businesses who sold Poppies, to all those who printed and displayed Poppies in their windows, to the Parish Council for the Poppies on the lampposts and to everyone who bought and wore a poppy. The Poppy tins have all been collected and the contents counted and although the total is lower this year at £1624.14, I know many have instead donated online. Still to be counted are the receipts for Wreath sales and the personal donations I have received. Congratulations and thanks must go to Park School, where the children and staff contributed a magnificent £433.27!
