The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Playground Committee: November 2016
The upgrade to the 'Tattenhall Playground' is very much in the news at the moment.
We have the upcoming Ceilidh this Saturday 26 November (this is a ticketed event so please ensure you grab a last minute ticket — see latest news on Tattenhall Online — or pop into Alison's Cafe or contact Tattenhallplayground@gmail.com ).
We have also heard that we have received a further £13,000 which is absolutely fantastic. This has most generously been provided by Burwardsley Parish Council in the form of S106 money which was to be spent within 20 minutes of their village. As they had nowhere suitable in which to use it, they have very kindly offered it to Tattenhall for use on the play area! We are so grateful to them. What a fantastic act of random kindness!
And finally, we are also trying a new initiative and we have set up a 'Crowdfunding Donation Page'. We are mindful that we are targetting all sorts of local individuals and businesses — quite frankly anyone and everyone! 'Crowdfunding' is an online way in which to raise monies for clubs, societies and community endeavours.

Your help is very much appreciated.
