Playground Fundraising Committee: December 2016
Another quick update regarding the Playground — it gets better and better!!
Now that the final monies have all been counted, we wish to advise everyone that we actually raised a staggering £2000 at the Ceilidh event. What a fantastic effort, on the part of many, towards our local target — our sincere thanks to you all! Our local target relates to our personal efforts in raising monies to support the overall costs of the project.
Secondly, enjoy lots of the Hog Roast and warm Gluhwein on 17 December, from 3pm — the Parish Council has kindly announced that the profits from this lovely Christmas gathering will also go towards the refurbishments of the Playground — we thank them for their generosity.
And finally, in case you didn't manage to attend the Ceilidh or if you cannot make the Hog Roast and Gluhwein on the Millfield on 17 December, you can always donate on our Crowdfunding Donation Page.
'Crowdfunding' is an online way in which to raise monies for clubs, societies and community endeavours.
