Planning Updates & Consultation Deadline 15 December

Gifford Lea Inspired Villages are consulting on their new Phase 4 plans to extend their retirement development further along Frog Lane towards the disused railway line. They propose 19 additional units (net); cottages, bungalows and apartments.

They have invited any comments by local residents on this proposal before they finalise their plans.

This online consultation will run until 15 December 2021.

Our readers may well have heard that the Lister Carter application for 30 dwellings off Chester Road has now been given planning permission. This scheme is regarded to be a considerable improvement on the earlier proposals of Barratt Homes.
