Planning Application Refused

The Ashley Wall/Wain Homes application (13/01329/OUT) for the Tattenhall Road site has been REFUSED.

There was a longstanding application to build 30 houses on the large field west of the Tattenhall Road and across the Keysbrook from Greenlands.

The case officer has found the proposal to be contrary to the provisions of the Local Plan and Policies 1 and 2 of the Tattenhall and District Neighbourhood Plan.

She therefore has refused the application and it is clear from the 'Refused Document' that the Secretary of State is unlikely to accept any appeal.

The scheme for this site had 137 houses initially, then 70, and was finally reduced to this 30.

This is surely to be welcomed by many within the village.
