The CarFest, the Planning Appeals Inquiry, the play area replacement and the Christmas Market were among the many items discussed at November's Parish Council Meeting.
During the open forum, arrangements for future ticket sales for the Bolesworth CarFest were announced.
A further 25% of tickets will be available for local purchase next Spring.
Details will be posted closer to the event.
The Council were advised that the Planning Appeals Inquiry is now underway in Winsford.
Sadly, CWaC planners have decided not to cover the Inquiry by webcam causing great difficulty for residents wishing to follow events now or in the future.
The Council resolved to make representation to the Inquiry Officer for webcam coverage to be re-instituted.
Plans for the park play area are progressing and three potential suppliers are expected to present proposals to the next planning meeting in 2 weeks.
The target for completion is March 2016.
Finally, we heard that the Christmas Market will not take place this year due to lack of interest from stall holders. Santa will be informed and will be invited to attend a children's party at the Barbour Institute instead. We will post the details as soon as they are finalised.
