Whilst some birdwatchers may have flocked to the Peak District earlier this week in the hope of seeing a Bearded Vulture, Tattenhall was able to boast yet further sightings of a pair of Red Kites.
Members of Tattenhall Wildlife Group (TWiG) were lucky enough to spot a pair of Red Kites circling over both the Flacca and Jubilee Wood and which were heading in the direction of Harthill and Burwardsley.
This is at least the second time that TWiG has reported sightings of a pair in the last few weeks; last recorded on Newton Lane in the month of May CLICK HERE
Whether or not these magnificent birds are actually breeding in our area is still an unknown, but it seems more likely with every positive sighting.
