Here are the details of Thursday's U3A walk (24 November).

Since I am unable to attend this week, then please let 'Dave' know whether you are intending to join us (01829 771157) - it is important that he knows in advance since sometimes we do have to make last minute changes.

The plan is to meet at Alison's Cafe at 09.20am or if you intend to make your own way there, then it is a 10.00am start at the walk. There is no cafe on the route so a packed lunch is essential. The riverside path may be muddy so wellies might be a consideration.

Directions to the Start.
From Tattenhall pick up the A49 (usually via Tiverton) then turn left at the traffic lights at Little Budworth on the A54 signposted Winsford. Carry on past the town centre, then at the big roundabout take the first exit (before crossing the River Weaver), which is shown on some maps as either 'New Road' or 'Bradford Road'. The sign at the start of the Road shows it to be 'New Road' at this point. Follow the Road past Winsford Salt Works; the turning to the car park is on the right about 200 metres past the end of the fencing.
