Tattenhall Brownies have just won 3rd place in a North-West competition. They were 3rd out of the entire North-West of England – from the Isle of Man to the Lake District to South Cheshire and everywhere in between. How fantastic is that!

In commemoration of 'International Day of the Girl' (IDTG) 2015, members of Girl Guiding Northwest England joined other girls and women to explore what IDTG meant for them. This challenge was split into 3 sections with Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section members and adults all taking part.

1. Celebrate Her – Rainbows and Brownies told us about a young woman that they admired
2. Being Her – Guides and The Senior Section told us why it's amazing to be a teenager in 2015
3. Tell Her – Our volunteers shared with us retrospective advice that they wished they could have shared with their teenage self

Girl Guiding Northwest England had many amazing entries; they really enjoyed looking though the art work and reading the entries and offered congratulations to all those that took part, especially the 1st Tattenhall Brownies, who gained third place.

Louise Gibson, 1st Tattenhall Brown Owl explained...

Our Brownies gave such thoughtful, emotional and considered responses and, as a result, they put so much incredible effort into their artwork/writing.
They thoroughly deserve their 3rd place win.

CONGRATULATIONS BROWNIES. SO PROUD OF YOU ALL!
