Open gardens open over the next few weekends.

The Open Garden season has started in full flow as the weather has warmed up. This is a chance to visit gardens that are not usually open to the public to check out what they can grow and get ideas, buy plants and have a nice piece of cake and a cup of tea!

  • April 28th Long Acre in Wyche Lane Bunbury 2-5pm and Ness Botanic gardens 10-5pm
  • May Saturday 4/5th Mount Pleasant , 12-5pm Yeld Lane, Kelsall 12-5pm
  • Sunday 5th Manley Knoll, Manley Road Manley 12-5pm
  • Monday 6th Framley Hadlow Road, Willaston, Neston 10.30-4pm and All Fours Farm Colliers Lane Aston by Budworth Northwick 10-4pm
  • Thursday 9th Cholmondley Castle Gardens 11-5pm
  • May 11/12 Brooke Cottage, Church Road Handforth 12-5pm
  • May 12th Abbeywood Gardens 9-5pm and Tirley Garth Gardens 1-5pm
  • May 19th Tattenhall Hall – this is also part of the Sandstone Ridge Festival.

For more information regarding the National Garden Scheme – Cheshire booklets will be available at all the gardens, the Tattenhall Gardening Society Plant Sale and in the Barbour Institute. Lookout for the Yellow Posters!
