OPAL.....goes down to the woods!

OPAL goes down to the woods today (Tuesday)!

Well, the Old People ActiveLives (OPAL) group had a wonderful day out on Tuesday – in Tattenhall!! They were pushed in wheelchairs, or walked if able, to the Spinney! Here they chatted and picnicked (lunch packets provided by Alisons Country Kitchen) and shared tales of their lives as children and young people – and put the world to right too! Both the helpers and the members enjoyed themselves – especially in the warm sun.

The group meet every Tuesday in the Community Room at St Alban's, from about 09:15am till 2:00pm, so if you know anyone who would benefit from some company, a good hot meal, and some activities, then get in touch. AND.. if you think you could spare an odd Tuesday to help, then that would be wonderful.
