OPAL — Older People Active Lives is our purpose and we have a full month of planned activities for December.

Our team of volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that OPAL remains true to its principles and that our older community members are not isolated but are valued and able to enjoy a full social life at our organised events.

Please try to support us, not least on 6 December (our principal fundraising event) ...

6 DECEMBER — COFFEE MORNING — BARBOUR INSTITUTE 10.30-12noon.
The entrance fee is just £1 to include coffee/tea and mince pie (how can you resist)!
This event is hugely important to us and the monies we raise help us to fund our year's activities, guest speakers, outings etc. which are a lifeline to older members within our community.
Please spare the time and drop in for a mince pie and coffee (if you want to bring along a raffle prize too, that would be very generous).

13 DECEMBER
Our Club Members will enjoy a festive outing to the Egerton Arms for their CHRISTMAS LUNCH.

20 DECEMBER
All ages love a party at Christmas, including OPAL members — so, true to form, our Christmas Party will take place for our members on 20 December.

NOTE- The club will be closed on 27 DECEMBER and 3 JANUARY and will re-open to welcome 2017 on 10 JANUARY.

Tattenhall Garden Society: Mon 28 Sep 6:17am

The "allotmenteers" had had their 10th birthday party on Saturday afternoon then on Sunday they joined with the...
