No Mow May

Let’s make Tattenhall a wildlife friendly village!

Join the one competition where you don’t actually have to do anything -just complete a form to enter!

The idea is that you leave a part of your garden lawn to grow -do not mow until you can see what is actually growing there.

If it is just grass- thats ok grasses- are still good for wildlife.

A member of Plantlife will come along and assess what is growing and give your patch a score- the winner of course will be the one which is the most wildlife friendly.

However if this is the first time you have done this it is still worth entering as you will get an Individual assessment of your patch and guidance on how you might improve it.

If you know of anyone else who would be interested in joining in then please let them know.

Join the do nothing competition.

contact Andy.jennings-giles@plantlife.org.uk or jenbenefield@icloud.com to obtain an entry form.
