These new services are due to come into force from SUNDAY 18TH MAY, as part of the changes made to the timetables from May.
The plans are to help boost opportunities to travel between Holyhead and London – so they are increasing with 12 additional services each week. Included are two additional services each weekday between Holyhead and Euston, as well as an early morning service ensuring arrival at London Euston before 09:00.
Two extra trains will operate on Saturdays: one from London to Chester, and one from Holyhead to London. On Sundays, an existing service from Holyhead will be extended to London, and there will be an additional train from London to Chester.
The new trains will also provide travellers with wireless charging for electronic devices, improved Wi-Fi, increased legroom and larger luggage racks. Information screens will also provide greater detail and real-time information for travellers.
