The Spinney Project Starting To Look Like a Big Success

The Spinney watchers have seen plenty to interest them over the winter period. Conversion of impregnable jungle to a manageable, natural environment. High quality pathways providing access to nature right in the heart of the village. Unobtrusive little bridges allow crossing and observation of marshy areas.

It's early days but the success of the venture is already apparent as The Spinney attracts a steady stream of dog walkers, pram pushers and walkers of all ages and capabilities.

Recently new features have been added. Benches and picnic tables of sturdy design, constructed from durable recycled materials and tastefully designed litter bins.

The Spinney project gives the village this new addition to its amenities. What pleasure lies ahead in Spring and Summer as trees and ground vegetation bursts into life and bird and other wild life make more frequent appearances. The Spinney has its pond, its streams, its dry and wet areas, discrete seating and observation areas.
