The Met Office has issued a 'Yellow Weather Warning' for Tuesday 25 August.
A Yellow weather warning, with high levels of rain and strong winds, may cause some interruption to power supplies and other services.
Importantly too, spray and flooding of roads is likely.
With trees in full leaf, it is vital that everyone takes extra care. The ground is already saturated with surface water in several locations but there is also the risk of loose debris.
English Heritage at Beeston Castle have also decided to close the site this afternoon (25 August) from 2pm. Their Website states the following:
