Message from Nina Barbour, Bolesworth Estate

You will all know of the devastation at the car park adjacent to the Liverpool Echo Arena and the impact on great numbers of individuals, not least Bolesworth Estate, who were showcasing their premier event at the venue during the Christmas and New Year Period. As the fire brigade have continued to release yet more images, the extent of the destruction is overwhelming.

Nina Barbour, President of the Liverpool International Horse Show, has made several statements over the last few days but she has asked us to print this very personal message on Tattenhall Online this evening ...

A HUGE 'THANK YOU' FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT

It goes without saying that everyone in the organising team at the show is hugely grateful for all the support and kind words received over the last two days. The show had certainly come of age with sell out performances and a magical atmosphere. I would like to extend a massive 'thank you' to all of you who have overwhelmed us with your messages of kindness, support, encouragement and overall understanding. Our hearts go out to all who have lost vehicles and irreplaceable sentimental items, to anyone young and old traumatised by the fire or those now having to deal with insurance companies to try and sort out the logistics of replacing vehicles lost in the fire. We truly feel for everyone having to deal with this matter at the start of the year.

I would like to emphasise that this setback has only made me more determined than ever to put this show on the map for years to come.
