The final show of the Liverpool International Horse Show (one of Bolesworth Estate's Premier Events) was cancelled on New Year's Eve as fire destroyed the multi-storey car-park which was located adjacent to the Liverpool Echo Arena.
The 'major' fire incident forced the cancellation of the international horse show event as fire fighters tackled the inferno ahead of the New Year Celebrations on the Liverpool Waterfront.
Matthew Morris, Estate Manager, has been in touch and would like us to publish his words of gratitude on the website.
As you will appreciate the extent of the damage here in Liverpool is unbelievable.
We will be issuing an official press release in the coming days but may I take this opportunity of asking Tattenhall Online to publish how the 'home' team from Bolesworth worked seamlessly alongside the emergency services and the venue staff to ensure the safe and injury-free evacuation of all horses and people.
As Estate Manager, I am immensely proud of them all and we thank everyone for their kind words of support at this challenging time.
