Meet Your Community Pharmacist

Already 6 months into her new role as our Tattenhall Pharmacist, Holly Wood is enjoying every minute of her new job

Holly hails from Lancashire and qualified in Liverpool. She has worked in a wide variety of hospital and community settings. She lives locally, frequently runs before work, walks the dogs, loves to cook and to spend time with her growing family.

With a tight knit and supportive team and having already made a new appointment (Becky, a qualified Dispenser), Holly is addressing the needs and demands that face us all. She has already delivered hundreds of Covid-19 booster and flu vaccines this season and offers a wide range of services; NHS England very much promotes signposting to Pharmacists since many conditions do not actually require a visit to a GP.

The Well Pharmacy model is something that Holly has had to embrace and develop and she is constantly sourcing medication to fulfil our needs which, of course, can present challenges with supply shortages. She is hugely grateful to the local community who have been welcoming, supportive and considerate.
