MAKING A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS AT BOLESWORTH.

Cheshire-based businesses Bolesworth and MBNA have joined forces to create the Making a Child's Christmas campaign which will offer less fortunate children from within Chester and surrounding areas an unforgettable early-Christmas experience.

The partnership will see children, parents, carers, and siblings, from the Hope House and Zoë's Place charities invited to the Bolesworth Christmas Lights Trail on Sunday 4th of December 2022.

Hope House Children's Hospices is dedicated to the provision of hospice and community care for life-limited children and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. Zoë's Place provides a short break service, palliative and end-of-life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years, living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Bolesworth will open its Christmas doors to the children and their families at 3pm, providing exclusive early admission before gates open to the public, with plenty of accessibility and space. The youngsters will be welcomed with delicious drinks and cookies in the Alpine Lodge and given the opportunity to meet Santa. They will then be invited to tour the Christmas Lights Trail, enjoy fairground rides and the Christmas Market.

Victoria Dowd, Sponsorships Manager at Chester-based MBNA, said; "We're really proud to be supporting such a special event at Bolesworth. Hope House and Zoë's Place do some fantastic work across the region and it's an absolute pleasure to be able to provide a festive treat for those who come into contact with both charities. The Bolesworth Estate is such a joyful place to be at Christmas time and I hope the children and families paying us a visit will thoroughly enjoy the experience!"

Deputy Head of Care, Zoe Garrett; "'Make a Child's Christmas' is an incredible event and Zoë's Place Baby Hospice are very grateful to be chosen to be part of this wonderful experience. We would like to say a huge thank you to MBNA and Bolesworth for their generosity in making this magical experience possible for our children and families. We look forward to seeing their faces light up when they visit the Christmas trail and get to meet Santa!"

"We were so thrilled to receive an invitation from MBNA/Bolesworth for some of the Hope House Children's Hospices families to attend this special event. The children are going to love seeing the lights, the reindeers and of course Father Christmas! Bolesworth have ensured this event is fully accessible so whether in a pushchair or wheelchair the magnificent lights trail will be seen by all. We are so grateful to be chosen by Bolesworth as their charity partner but also to be recognised by MBNA. The children and families we support across Cheshire, North and Mid Wales and Shropshire will benefit greatly from this lovely festive treat." Nicky Eyes, Hope House Area Fundraiser.

Nina Barbour, Managing Director Bolesworth Estate Co; "We are delighted to be in a position to facilitate this MBNA initiative which will hopefully provide a happy and fun experience for so many children and their families. Both charities work tirelessly to provide the best end-of-life care possible."
