The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Webteam: May 2016
As a member of the Webteam, you might recall that earlier this year I undertook a defibrillator training course because a talented peripatetic music teacher at the school from which I had recently retired, suffered a heart attack. He was quite literally 'shocked back to life' because of the quick thinking and training of staff on site and because a defibrillator was to hand.
This very week my own daughter was one of ten students who were attending a guest lecture when their lecturer had a heart attack and died right in front of them, leaving them in profound shock but with a positive desire to undertake CPR and Defibrillator Training.
We have two training sessions here in Tattenhall in June, each to be held on a Saturday — please pencil the dates in your diaries and try to attend at least one or both sessions.
Training might just make a difference — don't delay!
18 June 2pm-5pm — Heartstart Training
25 June 2pm-4pm — Defibrillator Training
Contact Jill on 01829 771895 if you would like to book a place on the next course.
